The fury of operation kgar is on the top

The fury of operation kgar is on the top

The Indian state is playing a holi of the blood of tribals and communist revolutionaries. The Indian state has launched a bloody military offensive against the communist revolutionaries in the tribal areas and against  all the forces of resistance of the class struggle of  the people, which has been named operation kgar. Its name indicates that this violent attack is final attack to crush the struggles of  the tribal farmers  and to completely wipe out the communist revolutionaries from these areas, as the government saying that this has to be ended. The BJP government of Chhattisgarh  and Central Modi government  have intensified military operation in these areas since last year and these operations have been given various names. Now there is a discussion about operation Kgar. In this bloody and oppressive campaign Indian military forces are carrying out operations  in tribal belts adjoing Chhattisgarh such as Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telegana and Odisha-Andhra border areas. In the first three months of this year, 150 people were killed in the name of police encounters, so far this number has crossed 200. The Indian state is putting price on the heads of communist revolutionaries and reward amount are being decided based on number of bodies. From  Amit Shah to ministers, bureaucrats and police officers of the chhattisgarh are announcing the eradications of Naxalism by March 26. After a recent police encounter in Jharkhand, the state’s DGP announced that Naxalites will be wiped out from the Jharkhand in two to three weeks. This is being called the biggest military operations conducted by Indian government in the tribal areas to crush people’s struggles.

To crush the struggles of the tribal farmers and the Maoist(communist revolutionaries), the UPA government had first launched a fascist offensive called Salwa Judum in 2005, under which Local tribals people were recruited as goon gangs with the help of police and the army forces and attacks were carried out on the struggling tribal farmers. In 2009, the Manmohan Singh’s Government launched a military offensive called Operation Green Hunt and since then continues oppressive military campaigns are being carried out in these areas and now oppression Kagar is announcing the complete eradication of communist revolutionaries. The responsibility of this eradication now lies with the Modi Government, which is riding on its Hindutava fascist chariots and is waging oppression against the people across the country and is engaged in the service of Imperialist capital with its special form of Hindutva politics. The current development of its communal politics in the country gives its more confidence to launch such attacks against the people. This is because its oppressive fascist rule in Manifesting itself even more actually in the tribal areas.

This attack is intervened with the propaganda campaign against Maoist, which is full of false propaganda ranging from portraying the Maoists as biggest threat to the internals security of the country to being a major obstacle to development. The Maoist revolutionaries  have always been a source of irritation in the eyes of Indian state because they fight to overthrow the oppressive Indian state through a people’s revolution and create a people's democracy. They are committed to preparing the people for this task and leading the people’s struggles. The presence of the Maoists in the forest areas and their role as an important resistance force of the people in the tribal areas have made the Maoists a special target of Indian state’s wrath. Because these forests are rich in innumerable valuable minerals and metals and this presence of Maoist becomes an obstacle in the plans of the imperialist  companies and crony capitalists who are hovering like vultures to grab these treasures. Therefore, the Indian state, is removing this obstacle as a force of resistance of people and presenting these forests and forest treasures in the service of imperialist capital. The intention to give free reign to corporates to plunder in these areas is the main reason behind the intensification of this attack .

Althrough the attack is being carried out in the name Maoist, its real purpose is to eliminate all forms of resistance in these areas. Whether this resistance is expressed through armed popular resistance or simple forms of protest. Althrough Maoist are an important resistance force in these areas, but they are not the only force, various organizations are active in these areas as the leading forces of the class struggle of people. The Indian state is presenting itself as not tolerating armed struggle , but in reality its aim is to crush all forms of resistance in these areas. The People’s struggles are to be wiped out and security forces are to be stationed in these areas for a long time so that a fear free Environment is created for corporates. To do this a, large scale displacement of tribals from the forest areas is also to be done. All kinds of public rallies, public protests and demostration are also prohibited    and being crushed with repression in these areas. Restrictions have also been imposed on mass organization/ platforms.

What is being done by Israel in Gaza Strip, the plans to displace the Palestinian peoples are being implemented, the same brutal attacks are being carried out in these areas. These are projects of destruction and complete displacement of marginalized people within its own state by Indian state so that world imperialist Companies can stay in these areas for a long time and plunder these lands at will.  The Indian state is violating its own constitution and law in the service of the global corporate world. Peoples are being killed in broad daylight without any investigation, without any case, and without any hearing. Democratic rights activists who raise their voices for the rights of tribals and other oppressed people are also being declared as Naxalites and thrown in jail.

For these purposes,  security camps have been set up in deep forest areas of Chhattisgarh and a permanent presence of army has been established here with these camps. There is currently an army camp every two and half kilometers in Baster. Similarly, police stations have been greatly expanded in Baster. The strength of security forces has been greatly increased and various types of army and paramilitary forces have been deployed. Roads have been greatly expanded in these areas so that the mobility of the security forces can be facilitated. All kinds of rules are being flouted even arial bombing is being carried out and surveillance is being carried out through drones. The purpose of this terrible war campaign is not limited to crushing resistance but is to instill terror in the minds of the tribal people through terrible massacres so that the people cannot even think of challenging the state’s looting projects. Therefore, The Indian government is planning to carry out a major massacre.

It is a well-known fact that this military offensive of the government has no concern with the resolution or even hearing of the issues of people. The government has spread a network of military campus in these areas, ignoring every level of resistance and flouting every rule of law. The intention of crushing the People’s movement by creating a massacre of the people are so clear that the offer made by Maoist Party for talks does not mean anything to the government. The Maoist Party has made offers of peace talks more than once and they have also announced the unilateral halt to the attacks, but despite these steps, the pace of government`s Operation has not slowed down, but rather announcements are being made to wipe out the Maoist forces with greater speed.

This approach of the government shows that the real issues for the Modi government is not the challenge posed to the Indian state by the Maoist party, but the real issue for the government is to spread and consolidate terror in the minds of the people in the wild tribal areas. By crushing the armed and unarmed resistance power the government wants to make the people renounce the very idea of resistance. Whether there is a dialogue or not, what the Indian state want to achieve is a permanent military presence in these areas, which is necessary to advance the agreements made with corporate world. For such an intention the current stance of opposing power is irrelevant. The intention of the condition being imposed even during the negotiations is that the people give up their right to struggle and surrender to Modi government and get out of the way of the companies. Apart from this intention, no other intention is evident from the statements of the government during the negotiations.

This attack is on tribal farmers’ movement. This is on the lands of tribal farmers because there are deposits of precious metals and minerals under these lands. The entire peasant movement of the country should be concerned about this brutal and bloody attack. The eyes of the same global corporate world are also on the lands and crops of the relatively devolved agriculture areas. If there is an abundance of the land these lands and crops, then there is an abundance of minerals and metals in tribal areas. The global imperialist companies are rushing to control both. The three agricultural laws and now the new draft for agricultural marketing are for these purposes only. The havoc being wrecked on the tribal farmers may seem like a distant happening today to the peasant movement of the developed belts of the green revolution, but here too, The Indian government has to do the same on instructions of the corporate world to seize the crops and lands. Direct use of the army and false police encounters will not be distant things. The movement of these areas will also have to face such havoc soon. Revolutionary activities should highlight the common thread of the struggles of the tribal farmers with the entire peasant movement struggling against imperialist and feudal onslaught and should understand the importance of the strength of the tribal peasant masses as the leading fighting force within the entire peasant movement. The entire peasant movement should be concerned about protecting this strength.

At this time the revolutionary, democratic and patriotic forces of the country should raise their voices and demand that operation Kgar be stopped immediately, the practice of the false police encounters should be stopped, and kinds of political violence should be stopped. Security forces should be withdrawn from tribal areas, military and police camps should be dismantled, air and drone attacks should be stopped, local goonda gangs should be disbanded immediately. All political prisoners and social democratic activities should be released. The ban on all political and public organizations included CPI Maoist should be removed. Black laws like AFSPA, NSA and UAPA should be repealed. Agreements made with corporate companies should be canceled.
