Nazar
Singh Boparai is now
Out of SURKH REKHA PUBLICATIONS
(for all Concerned)
(for all Concerned)
It is to be
registered by all the readers of SURKH REKHA PUBLICATIONS that Sh. Nazar Singh
Boparai has left the institution and dissociated himself with its views. He has
lost all his faith in the foundations of the understanding which culminated in
unity and merger of SURKH REKHA and INKALABI JANTAK LEEH into a single unified
Communist Revolutionary publication in 1994. The derailed individual has taken
his own course and is no more part of the SURKH REKHA family.
After
withdrawing his services as part of the technical – managerial staff of the
publication, he has declared himself the “acting editor” of the magazine SURKH
REKHA in a self-styled manner. He is misusing the technical point that the
ownership of the magazine is in his name. As everyone knows SURKH REKHA is not
a personal publication. It has been run collectively by the institution based
on definite political understanding irrespective of any legal technicalities.
By leaving the SURKH REKHA institution, which is well recognized through its
policies, and by loosing political faith in its policies, the comrade has lost
the political claim of its name and legacy.
However,
the comrade has taken a sorry course to create legal technical hurdles for
SURKH REKHA publications. In a situation of utter rejection of his act as well
as the thinking in wider SURKH REKHA spheres, the derailed comrade has
desperately turned to the only available straw i.e. the claim of so called
technical legal ownership, for preaching his own different thinking in the name
of SURKH REKHA (what shape this thinking ultimately takes is not yet certain).
In an attempt to falsely attach his upturned personal thinking to the popular
legacy of SURKH REKHA, he is avoiding, in a calculated manner, the open
rejection of the paper’s policies.
Through
these columns, we inform all concerned, not to take from now any publications
by Nazar Singh, singly or jointly with anyone, as representing the
understanding of the same SURKH REKHA which they know up to now. To keep the
dust clear, the institution had already decided to rename the magazine. The
comrade was duly informed. There was a suggestion and offer to share the
decision properly with readers, through columns of SURKH REKHA itself. Such an
amicable joint sharing by the editorial board and the technical owner would
have avoided the confusion. But the adamant comrade has virtually turned down
this suggestion by declaring himself an “acting editor” and even bringing an
issue with false claim of continuity of the SURKH REKHA series.
On behalf
of thoroughly unified SURKH REKHA family, the SURKH REKHA renamed, but with
preserved policy content, will reach you soon.
With
Revolutionary Greetings!
